About Zombal
Zombal is a web-based service for putting people with needs in scientific,
technical, and industrial research and information activities in touch with
people who may be able to assist them. Members of the system will submit tasks or questions (otherwise known
as zombs) that other members can bid on if they have the required expertise.
Meet the Zombal Team
Benedict was born in Perth, Western Australia. In 2000 he obtained a Bsc from the University of Western Australia majoring in geology and archaeology. Following that, in 2005, he completed a BCompSc degree, also at U.W.A. Benedict has always worked for startups, and over the past few years has become instrumental in mediating between outsourcing contractors and local companies. In late 2009 it came to him that there was a gap in the outsourcing sector - science. His goal is bring this new sector into the public light.
Aleksey lives in a small town near Irkutsk, Russia. He's completed a computer science major at university and is proficient in many programming languages. Currently, his main role is in back-end web development. He continually hones his skills by testing and implementing new technologies and software. Aleksey has the onerous task of putting aside his perfectionism to deliver results in short time frames.
Erik is based out of central California, United States. He recently earned a B.S. of Computer Science from California State University, Fresno. Has over 8 years of web development experience and is knowledgeable in many programming dialects. At Zombal, he is responsible mostly for front-end functionality and designs. His specialization is in UI design and UX. Always likes to take things the extra pixel. Amongst other things, he enjoys hacking up some solo projects, reading about technology startups, traveling (has somewhat of nomad-ish spirit), and every morning he likes to start his day with by drinking a nice glass of orange juice.
